The Catechesis Project
The Catechesis Enhancement Project aims to strengthen the spiritual foundation of our community through comprehensive catechetical education and training This project targets members of St. Brendan's Catholic Church Jahi 2 and neighboring churches namely (St Cyril Catholic Church Kado Kuchi and Church of Annunciation Gishiri) pastoral to deepen their understanding of the Catholic faith and foster spiritual growth.
Objectives:
- Develop and implement a structured catechetical curriculum.
- Recruit and train catechists for effective teaching and mentorship.
- Conduct catechetical sessions and workshops for participants.
- Foster community engagement and participation in catechetical activities.
- Evaluate the impact and effectiveness of the program.

Meet The Team
Amanda Hange
Amanda Hange Wuese, a devoted individual from Benue State, has forged a deep connection with the Catholic Church through her unwavering commitment and service. Currently serving as the Vice President of CYON (Catholic Youth Organization of Nigeria) at Brendan Catholic Church, Amanda demonstrates a fervent dedication to nurturing spiritual growth and community engagement among the youth. Her involvement extends beyond the parish level, as she also holds the esteemed position of Financial Secretary within the CYON Wuse Deanery. In this role, Amanda showcases her organizational prowess and financial acumen, contributing significantly to the smooth functioning and development of the deanery's initiatives.
Ozogbo Oluchi
Oluchi Ozogbo is a member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Jahi 2, Abuja. She resides in Jahi 2 district of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and hails from Anambra State, specifically Dunukofia local government area. Oluchi is proud of her Igbo heritage and actively participates in her local community.
Nkom Stephen
Nkom Stephen is an active member of St. Brendan's Catholic Church in Jahi 2, Abuja. He is currently residing at House No 2, Vigilante Street, Jahi 2, Abuja. Originally from Obudu in Cross River State, Stephen is a skilled Web and Graphic designer
